Flood Survivors in East Jakarta Receive Logistical Aid

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Acting Head, Abdul Salam said his party provided aid with 1,200 boxes of packaged rice meals and mineral water to flood survivors located on Jalan Pusdiklat Depnaker, RW 05, Makasar Urban Village, 150 boxes for residents on Jalan Lebak Empang I, RT/RW 002/05, Cijantung Urban Village, Pasar Rebo, and 100 boxes for residents in Cipinang Melayu Urban Village.

"The aid was handed over symbolically to the caretakers of the Kramat Jati Disaster Preparedness Village (KSB) and local community leaders," he added.
The same action also came from the East Jakarta Branch PMI. They distributed the bread and mineral water to other survivors in RW 04, 05, and 07, Makasar Urban Village.
East Jakarta PMI's Public Relations and Communication Section Head, Agus Bastian uttered 1,500 pieces of bread and mineral water were given to residents affected by the inundation at around 2.21 AM.
